My family and I found Ballyhannon Castle to be absolutely enchanting. It was so relaxing and quiet. We found everything we needed and had a fabulous time celebrating my brother's wedding. The snug house was perfectly cozy and we enjoyed strolling the beautiful grounds. It was a delightful peaceful get away.

Myself and a close group of friends stayed @ Ballyhannon Castle for my hen party. There were 23 of us in total and more than enough room for all of us between the coach house and the castle. Margaret and Liam are amazing hosts, nothing is a problem for them and they are really helpful. Both places are well equipped...

I took a group of 14 music and beer loving travelers here in 2007 for one week. Our experience was SO incredible that it became the birth of a traveling group that has now reached 100 members. We came back to visit our "ancestral home" last week, and Margaret was kind enough to open up the castle for my entire...

I don't know where to even start! My family (19 people) and I recently spent Christmas week at Ballyhannon Castle. We rented both the castle and the carriage house and it could have not been more of an amazing setting. The carriage house is so quaint and cozy, while the castle is magnificently authentic. We would spend most mornings in...

The castle itself is extremely well kept, while being true to its past. I love history and the idea of staying in a castle really appealed. While I had seen the photos...

Two of my best friends were married at the castle, and I couldn't have been happier about where they choose to have the wedding. The grounds were beautiful and the accommodations were excellent. Clean and comfortable. I stayed in the carriage house with the friends and it was perfect for everyone. It was great having a kitchen and living quarters...

Myself and my wife recently got married here and the castle will always have a special place in our hearts. I had stayed in the coachhouse the year before for another event so I had first-hand experience how beautiful the location is. The castle itself is stunning and beautifully furnished. It has all the mod-cons you could need without losing...

The best decision we made was to hold our wedding here. It is beautiful and unique and our guests are still talking about it. The Castle is exquisitely furnished and is an experience of a lifetime, brimming with history. We had our ceremony of 55 guests more than comfortably in the downstairs reception room of the Castle by candlelight. Guests...
