One word for this B&B - amazing. The location is very good as the bus stop for Dublin is a few minutes away, and it takes 20-30min to reach the centre. The building is very cute, the rooms are nice, clean and cozy, and one can sleep very good. A big bonus is the room leading to a garden with...

Great hospitality and the breakfast is to die for!! The staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are cosy and the lodge is in a great location for trips into Dublin. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be visiting again.

The experience was great, it was really nice, cozy, clean and the stuff was very kind. While we had breakfast our room was cleaned, which was perfect. The first time we realized it we where really surprised! The only negative is the distance from Dublin's center.

Moat Lodge is a really nice place to stay. It is quiet and comfortable yet very convenient for Lucan village and public transport into Dublin city. Breakfast is delicious and served in a relaxed dining room.

Quiet, pleasant room with all you need for a good night's sleep. Good, free wifi. Warm and good shower. No complaints. Quite a journey into city centre but close to motorway. It has a friendly atmosphere and is close to Lucan village which is a nice place. The b&b is easy to miss if you are travelling by car as...

I stayed there over the weekend and found it to be friendly, clean, comfortable. I'd booked it so I could attend a party in the village - It was great that there was separate side entrance to the accommodation and enough parking on site also. Linen was spotless and fresh. I'd happily stay there again if the need arose. The...

We decided to stay outside of Dublin as it was more reasonably priced and quieter. Stayed at this very good small hotel / b&b. The rooms were small but very clean with a nice bathroom . Excellent breakfast and close to transport ( bus) to Dublin. There was very nice places to eat nearby as well. After a long day...

I found myself having to make a sudden and unexpected trip to the area for personal reasons this weekend, and didn't have the luxury of weeks to research hotels and plan in advance. I found Moat Lodge on a hotel search website and given that the price was so much lower than the other choices, decided to book it without...

Thank you for the positive review, we are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. You mentioned the carpets and furniture being a bit dated and you are right; we actually have plans to refurnish the rooms progressively in 2016 with new carpets, tv's and wardrobes. Do stop by again if you are in the area.
