A very special place with special people. It's an island of contrasts, tiny pockets of land enclosed by hand laid walls, beaches of golden sand reminiscent of the Caribbean, stark, almost bleak stretches of views, soaring cliffs with crashing waves, centuries old battlements/defences, amazing geological elements; on a long walk around the coastline we saw flat plates of limestone and...

Just back from a wonderful 2 day stay - the island, the suites, the food, the people ...... perfect. Their reputation is well known and very well deserved. The only thing I would add is that it is easier to get to than we expected - easy 3 hour drive from Dublin to the Connemara airport and then a 5...

This is one of the best restaurant meals I've ever had. The location couldn't be more beautiful, the dining room is sumptuous, and the food and wine are superlative. The service was so friendly and warm (especially as I visited solo). I'll treasure my memory of this wonderful meal, and look forward to returning as soon as possible. DO NOT...

Very view places have left such an impression on us. Inis Meain island is as un-commercialized and authentic as any place in Ireland. The landscape is stark and beautiful with miles of trails and shorelines to explore. Just visiting the Island is a treat And then there is the Inis Meáin Suites and Restaurant. The young owners, Ruairí de Blacam...

Great accomodation and facilities. Restaurant and quality of food are outstanding. The island itself is a different world and a total get away. Marie-Therese and Ruairi are super welcoming, while Steph and all of other team members are genuinely warm and hospitable. Visited the local pub one evening which is well worth a visit and was tended on our visit...

Marie-Therese and Ruari de Blacam have created a most welcoming, beautifully designed and situated accommodations on the less populated island of Inis Meain. Every need was met in our suites, and the restaurant and meals were elegant! The suites are comfortable, with majestic views across the Atlantic to the twelve Bens and Connemara. Walking from the suites provides glimpses back...

Myself and my husband escaped to Inis Meain Restaurant & Suites for a 2 day break shortly after our wedding. It was the perfect location to wind down after the madness and excitement of our wedding day. After a short 45 minute ferry we were met at the port by the chef/owner of the suites Ruairi. One of many little...

My new husband and I recently came to stay at the Suites. I planned the wedding and he planned the honeymoon. I must say he has absolutely blown my mind, our highlight to our Ireland 2 week stay has been staying at the Suites, eating in the Restaurant and enjoying all the wonders, beauty and uniqueness that only the Inis...

The service, the room, the meals (OH the MEALS), the extra care...all were absolutely amazing ! Marie-Therese and Rauiri are special hosts, Rauiri a fabulous chef. We flew from the the small airport west of Galway (takes 15 minutes) and back and we would recommend this in order to maximize your time on Inis Meain. At the end of our...
