We enjoyed ourselves so much last year that we came back again. It was even better this time around. The food and hospitality is still stunning with some new additions to the building. Ruairi now has a kitchen almost big enough to swing a cat in (!) with a mirror on the wall in front of it, so everyone at...

In all my travels, this is truly one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed. Ruari prepared exquisite meals using fresh ingredients from the island, Marie-Thérèse and staff made us feel completely taken care of, and the suites themselves are beautifully designed with stunning views of the water. A truly magically experience. We will absolutely be back.

Staying at Inis Meain Restaurant & Suites was one of the best decisions my group and I ever made. Totally recommend this hotel and the island itself. We started the trip by taking a quick eight minute flight in one of the tiniest planes I’ve ever been in. So thrilling/scary/hilarious. So much fun getting there... and quick! Highly recommend it...

We (a group of 5 lads) had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food is exquisite, the views are excellent and the team leaves no stone unturned in ensuring the perfect experience for the diner. Marie Therese and staff are most welcoming and helpful and Ruairi's use of home-grown produce, combined with no-nonsense cooking, ensures the perfect dining experience....

This is a truly unique place. Ruairi and Marie-Therese de Blacam have managed to do almost the impossible. They have created a modern, high class set of suites which blend in perfectly with ancient, beautiful and unspoilt surroundings. We loved the warm genuine welcome, the comfort of the suite, the carefully thought-out extras (binoculars, excellent bikes, fishing rod, coffee/tea and...

I traveled by plane from Connemara Regional Airport on Friday of the May Bank Holiday to spend 2 night at the Inis Meain Restaurant and Suites. Family circumstances meant that my friend was unable to travel with me but despite this I had a wonderful 2 days in a beautiful retreat of minimalist design with luxurious bedding and toiletries as...

Words are difficult when attempting to describe how special, the hotel, restaurant and island are. Ruairi and Marie Therese have created a very unique retreat on an amazing island. The ferry ride helps set the tone of the laid back life on the island. We returned to mainland on early ferry and instead of going to the restaurant for 8...

This place is fabulous. My wife and I travelled from Belfast to the west coast for several days over Easter and spent 4 days here. The rooms are nice, the food is excellent and the island feels remote and peaceful. This is not for anyone looking for excitement - it's purely for relaxation. The owners and staff tailor everything (through...

This trip exceeded all my expectations. The island is stunning, the southern half has wide expanses of bare limestone with dramatic scenery of high cliffs and storm beaches as you look across to Inis Mor. To the north the landscape is of greener fields and a beautiful fine-sand beach, boreens and complex dry stone walls. We walked all day and...
