I have stayed in many B&B's over time and I have to say I've never stayed in one like this ever. The room had an odd smell, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the rooms did not have any wifi (you had to sit in the pub for the wifi). The rooms were not sound proof at all and you could...

My husband and I were the only tourists staying at the hotel because it's out of season. We may have been the only tourists on the entire island which was really interesting and rewarding. Toma was absolutely a wonderful hostess who lavished us with attention and said yes to every request, letting us check in early, opening the bar and...

Stayed at this hotel recently - its the only hotel on the island, other accommodations available are B&B's and hostel. Most are seasonal, and few were open when booking accommodation there (October) The Inis Oirr hotel is average in most respects - rooms and public areas a bit shabby (could do with a Francis Brennan makeover). Food (taken in bar)...

I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend for one night. Staff were friendly enough and when we were too cold they were quick to adjust the temperature and ensure our comfort. The bar attached provided decent pub grub. We didn't find anything remarkable about the room, it was quite basic and it seemed like more of a guest house...

Very disappointed with the food. None of the staff spoke Irish and looked at me as if I was mad when I ordered my drink in Irish. I find it incredible that they would employ staff that aren't fluent in an area where over 80 % speak Irish. Setting is lovely though and staff friendly

Just dropped in here for a drink and a feed. Had a toasted sanga, which was very nice. The staff were friendly, and it was a very relaxed place to be. Once I'd finished walking around Inis Oirr, I twisted my own arm to go back for another drink, and had a chat with a couple of the locals. Very...

Have visited this establishment on a few occasions but this time the staff outdid themselves with they're low standard of customer service . On two separate occasions the barman just continued on with whatever he was doing at the time or the conversation he was having without either looking at us or speaking . In fact it seemed to me...

It may be the only hotel on Inis Oirr (sheer) but it is really good, has bedrooms which are away from the pub and nightlife. Rooms good and clean, breakfast good and the atmosphere and music in the pub was great. Really welcoming place and lovely island to visit. Love Inis Oirr
