Very noisy, especially at weekends. Staff unhelpful and often unavailable. Rooms not cleaned properly, or every day. Unpleasant atmosphere in bar - small group of very drunk men there every day. Very disappointing to find that most of the staff could not speak Irish. Menus only available in English. Will stay in a B&B or at the hostel next time!

On Inis Oirr for a week. No one at reception when we arrived. Boats arrive at regular times so hotel would have known we were coming. Rooms were NOT cleaned daily. Noisey at night especially at weekend. Disappointing. Staff in bar/ breakfast room nice. I would not recommend as we did not get what we paid for. B and B...

Since it is the only hotel on this small island (3 km x 2 km) it is not surprising the bar is kept busy between local residents and visitors from the B&Bs as well as hotel guests. To escape the noise I opted for dinner in the quiet hotel restaurant. Grilled mackerel and salad was very good. Chips dry and...

We travelled from doolin to the islands and decided to go for a bite to eat, so we entered this property, the inside is nice but what really annoyed me was the service, The guy just cannot be bothered and seems to have no idea how hospitality works while a queue was at the bar he would take an order...

This is a small hotel/guesthouse on the island. It's very close to the harbour and the beach, so perfectly located. The bar and restaurant are both great and the breakfast fantastic and plentiful with a good range of options. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were there for a festival, so the place was full. Could get quite...

Ive been coming here for years, with so many great memories in the hotel. The night scene is always the best craic and the food is good. However, last weekend we popped in for lunch. We asked the man working what the soup was, he looked at me blank faced and shrugged his shoulders and said 'dunno' !!! I was...

My boyfriend who is Irish myself from New Zealand, bought me here for a weekend and we ate here but stayed elsewhere, it's really old school inside, obviously it's not five star but what do you expect on a wee island like that it's such an experience I felt like I'd stepped back in time it was brilliant everyone was...

We stopped in looking for a quick bite after walking for hours on Inis Oirr. The bartender said that lunch was over, but happily offered us a ham and cheese sandwich. We were grateful for anything so we accepted. We were expecting a cold sandwich alone, but he brought us toasted sandwiches and chips (fries) and the best crisps (chips)....

To start.I came to Inisheer for peace, meditation and regeneration. Never there before. I knew it is a small island with tiny population, very short tourism season and accessibility governed by sea conditions. I did not expect 5* restaurants, hotels, golf/leisure activities unsustainable in such a small place. What I got was a basic but really comfortable, spotlessly clean hotel...
