We visited Carna Bay hotel in August during a family holiday to nearby Mweenish island and it was a delightful night out. The staff are super friendly, even when having to scan and check everyones vaccination certificates, but that didnt dampen the mood. The restaurant was busy but still felt cosy and pub like. We ordered starters of seafood chowder, which was like a bowl of heaven, thick creamy and full of seafood! And our mains were all excellent and served with a smile. If you want good food and a warm and cosy welcome than I would recommend the Carna Bay hotel to anyone.

The hotel offers all the comforts you could expect and the rooms are bright and airy. The food is brilliant and excellent value. The drinks are reasonably priced and the service is second to none. Attentive without being intrusive which is hard to do. And to hear the colleagues speak to one another in Gaelic, the cherry on the cake! A lovely stay, great memories and true taste of the West. Would recommend to a friend.

Stayed for 2 nights. A really lovely family run hotel. Rooms were clean and all staff were so friendly. We ate in the bar both nights and the food was fabulous! Lovely quiet location with plenty of beautiful beaches close by.

Very comfortable hotel, friendly staff, delicious food. The room are spacious and quiet. Very tasty breakfast, beautiful dinners. Very quiet and remote, a stone throw to glorious beaches, short drive to the Connemara national park. We will visit again.
