We stopped off at Peacocks on New Years Eve for supper and found it to be top class. Friendly and efficent service by the staff and the food quality was excellent. Also a very nice atmosphere in the bar area created by a group of teenage girls playing a mix of trad and folk songs and irish dancing too. Just...

Great hotel between Galway and Connemara, we had a cosy room with a little balcony and a great view of the sunrise. Loved the viewing deck and gift shop. The staff were so helpful and friendly everywhere we went in the hotel and we spent hours in the bar next to the fire. Excellent breakfast and great value for money....

The hotel accommodated my non-dairy preference very kindly and creatively. I loved the water in the shower - made my skin feel great. The staff were really friendly and I got some great souvenirs in the gift shop.

So glad we stopped for lunch although the gift store was close. Husband said a moment ago, "That was the best steak sandwich I've had in a long, long time." It was good. My favorite was the excellent coleslaw. Terrific. Thanks!

It is a good place if you just want to chill out in rural ireland, i assume from the location it is just for people who are travellign around ireland because there is nothing around the area. good i guess for cyclists etc to have a stop off and a night in a hotel.
