this trip was a book and chance it,coupon deal, two nights b and b and one evening meal, all for the price of an evening meal,a chance not to be missed, but not expecting anything extraordinary. My first thought was how would Kinvara do given its geographical position lying between a capital of culture in Galway and some of the greatest jewels of the...

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. The place was clean and comfortable, the full Irish breakfast was huge. Only a small thing, the batter on the hake at our evening meal was a bit burnt but the rest of the food was fine and portions generous.

I have stayed here a number of times, its by no means luxury but its clean and functional. Once I had booked a wheelchair accessible room but to be told when we arrived the lift was broken on that occasion we had to make alternative arrangements. The food is tasty

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Dingle. We had the special Irish roast beef with mash and veggies. Excellent service and lovely food. The beef was tender and flavorful, veggies just tender. Best of all was the horseradish. Yummy! Highly recommended.

We stopped off for dinner on our way back to Dublin and the food was absolutely amazing and so reasonably priced! We had mussels and prawns - huge huge huge portion and the lamb which was very tasty. If we weren't in a rush I would have tried their dessert too! Highly recommend this place! Staff were very friendly too!

Excellent meal. Great portions, lovely food and good value. The kids and adult meals were delicious and everyone enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly. We called on our way back from cliffs of Moher. A great find.

What a treat to find this town after witnessing a brilliant sunset at the cliffs of Moher. A friend from Blarney mentioned Kinvarna as a town to hit on on our way to Clifden. The staff was excellent, food and breakfast was top notch and the proprietor, Julie, was a sweetheart.

We stopped by for lunch recently - there were 7 of us in total (two families) and we found a very comfortable table in the bar. There was a wide selection of food for adults and kids, and the quality was excellent. But the thing that really distinguished the Merriman was the excellent staff. I don't think I've ever come...

Stayed here with a group of friends recently and had an enjoyable time. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the bar on the second night of our trip, the salmon with vierge sauce was delicious, we were all impressed with the food quality and regretted not having eaten there on the first night...
