Travelling along west coast and by luck we sited this B&B. Greeted by host who shows us the rooms and main areas. With the smell of a turf fire drifting thru the main room how could you say no.Only has a few rooms and offered the sea view room. Room is a good size with ensuite. Bed is super comfortable... More

Huge room, great apple crepes, cozy decorated interior. I would caution anyone with respiratory problems, there is a wonderful smelling peat fire that Nancy bakes her fabulous bread in (in the actual hearth!) but it caused my son to cough and have a sore throat the days we were there. Wish we had more time to spend talking to Nancy--she... More

We were referred by a friendly person at a nearby beach. What a referral! We got the thatched cottage to ourselves. Clean and bright with a lovely room in back where we watched the ducks. From the back yard we could see the ocean and we could get to the water while walking to the town which is only a... More

Stayed for 3 nights with my 2 children. We loved the place. Very clean and spacious, warm and simple at the same time. Keeps you away from the stress and offers truly healing experience while on vacation. Nancy's help and wonderful cooking, beautiful ocean views, peat fire and irresistible aroma of the homemade soda bread will be remembered. Breakfast was... More

Nancy and Thomas welcomed us last weekend in this lovely place, in a very handy location to get the boats to the Aran Islands. Her crepes with apples and syrup for breakfast were simply amazing! Clean, warm, a great attention to details. I definitely recommend this place!

Stayed in the cottage a couple of summers ago and still remembers this wonderful BnB. Nancy was absolutely charming and a perfect hostess. The cottage itself is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The rooms are very comfortable and the full Irish breakfast is very welcome! There are books and sweets for guests in the lounge where you can sit by the... More

As lovely inside as out. I felt instantly welcomed. The full Irish Breakfast was wonderful! Homemade Irish Soda Bread!! There was a bit of confusion as to my reservation, so do make sure that you spell your name slowly and clearly both when reserving, and calling ahead to confirm. Our host and hostess were delightful people. As with all the... More

If you want an authentic thatched cottage experience along with homemade bread for breakfast made in an actual peat fire, this is the place. The owners were cordial and we arrived jet lagged, they offered us tea and made us feel right at home until our rooms were ready. Lovely sunsets from the property and a short drive to vibrant... We stayed at Nancy's self-catering cottage this July for a week and had the most pleasant and comfortable stay. The cottage is a good size for family of four with children tucked away in the loft room and parents in a large bedroom with plenty of storage space and an en-suite bathroom. The whole cottage is breathing charm with its... More

This was my first time ever in a B&B. All i can say is wow. Nancy was a great host, very welcomming. It was far better than any hotel i ever went to. Breakfast was to die for. I cannot fault anything about this cottage or the hosts or the food.
