This was our forth bed and breakfast on this trip so in comparison the standard was equal with the exception of the beds. The bed clothes were lovely but the mattresses seemed really old. The WiFi didn't reach our room and the bathroom was tiny as seems to be typical. The highlight was the host Breda who was wonderful and...

What a lovely place on a beautiful river! We arrived on a Sunday evening expecting to get situated, then head back to a pub to get some dinner but Breda informed us no one would be serving food nearby. In response, she made us a delicious dinner of soup and sandwiches, for which we were very appreciative. The place is...

In our trip we decided to go there. At the beginning it's a little bit complicated the localisation because is in the middle of the anything, but when you find the house... is an amazing experience with the nature, you can see cows, deers... The house's owners were ver nice and friendly and they at all times want to help...

We stayed three nights and wish it could have been longer. Breda and Padraig treated us like family. Blackstone House is a very quiet and relaxing place to be. It's not far to the towns or the local pubs.

Beautiful setting, wonderful property, very comfortable rooms, amazing meals, and unmatched hospitality !! Look no further, this B&B is just perfect. We had such a great stay. Both the evening dinner and the morning breakfast were gourmet quality. Really enjoyed the super comfortable beds after a long day of hiking. The hosts are so warm and welcoming... highly recommend !...

From the warmness of our host to the breathtaking scenery it was worth the trip out! it was secluded and had such great trails! It is truly out of the way but make the bet of it, Have some wine and take in the beautiful stream and surrounding irish landscapes! Delicious breakfast and the dog scuffles is the cutest!

We almost didn't find this B&B. The roads to get there are very tight. The B&B is nestled along a river bank and there are great areas within walking distance to take pictures. The bridge leading up to the house is beautiful. If you are looking for a luxury type lodge, this is not it. The lodge is geared more...

Really lovely B and B. Very comfortable room with fantastic view of the river, our hostess Brid was so welcoming, arrived late very hungry and she sent muffins up to our room, very much appreciated. Amazing breakfast one of the best we've had on the Kerry way. Also arranged luggage transfer at a very reasonable rate. Would highly recommend. Friendly,...

All the nice things that are being said about Blackstones House are completely true - wonderful hospitality, beautiful tranquil setting, delicious food. I want to add that Breda was extra kind and helpful to me by not only mailing me my forgotten item her cost, but doing it immediately so that it arrived in Dublin shortly after our visit there...

The property is located along the bank of a very scenic river. Our room had an excellent view of the river and the grounds. The room was well appointed with a large bathroom.. The common area is very pleasant and inviting. Our host and hostess were very helpful and friendly. Since there is really no place nearby to eat they...
