I planned this as an extra special treat for a 25th wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint. From start to finish we were treated like royalty. The hotel staff were among the best I've experienced. The hotel itself an old family dwelling is set in some of the most idyllic surroundings you could imagine. We stayed in the Green room...

Recently we were lucky to be invited and be part of a very special event. Thanks once again to Kevin for the invitation. The event was the landmark celebration of twenty five years in business of Sammy Leslie and her team of professionals at Castle Leslie Estate. The guests comprised of friends, family, locals and staff past and present. It was...

We chose Castle Leslie on recommendation from an Irish colleague who had stayed at the hotel on her honeymoon. Unfortunately, we were unable to stay in the actual Castle due to a wedding on the weekend we were there. I’d recommend checking before you go about events in the Castle because it sounds like they have a lot of them,...

Visited the main castle/house which is beautiful with lovely finishes, furniture and setting. Stayed in the lodge down the road from the castle/house (part of same establishment). Lodge is overpriced and not value for money. Shower had low pressure. Staff compromised significant numbers of immature but pleasant young adults with little management. Breakfast in the lodge was a disappointment with...

Everything about this hotel is wonderful from the views, to the unique bedrooms, to the dining, to the breakfast, to the horses, the staff - all amazing. Please don't hesitate if you fancy a break in this hotel but advise to go a bit more and stay at the castle as opposed to the lodge- we loved the mauve room,...

I had a horseriding package and found that staying at one of the master bedrooms with ethereal lake view, waking up in the morning and going down the grand staircase in riding boots, helmet and crop in hand, past Sir Norman's full regalia portrait which always reminds you to stand straight and a little taller, crossing the mosaic floor and...

This stop on our whirlwind travels across Ireland over 10 days proved to be the most relaxing and we're well worth the 3 nights we stayed. The Castle is certainly beautiful, but, for a younger and more energetic couple like my wife and myself, I highly recommend The Lodge. We had a Lodge room with balcony over the stables (which...
