Richmond House is a wonderful country house set in lovely grounds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You feel at home the minute you arrive, it is welcoming and extremely comfortable. The food is excellent and worthy of the all the accolades they have received. This was our second visit and could not recommend it highly enough.

We were welcomed at Richmond House with an invitation to enjoy tea in the parlour. How nice after a day of travel! Following this we enjoyed a walk around the spacious grounds and explored the garden that provides some of the fresh produce that would appear at dinner. Dinner was the highlight. Every dish was special in some way and...

If you are looking for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life, in a serene and peaceful location, this is the place to stay. From the outset, the warm welcome by Claire, the lady of the house, ensured a feeling of being a cherished guest. Our large and pretty room overlooked the expansive gardens, and sitting there...

I was really looking forward to eating here. It was my treat night while we were on holidays. We booked a table 24 hrs in advance for 2 adults and 2 kids. We were met by a disinterested waitress, who was bordering on rude. I later overheard her complaining to another waitress about her job. (Only adding to my feeling...

This old country house has lots to recommend it. It is located on the outskirts of Cappaquin in West Waterford and is a great base from which to explore the South East. The rooms are comfortable, free wifi, great staff (especially Marian who my scrawny companion took a shine to) and it has authentic reception rooms. The highlight of the...

A wonderful place and staff with the best food experience I have ever had. There is a lovely charm about this 300+ year old residence and only a short walk to Cappoquin town. A real home from home. Can't praise it enough

We stayed for 3 days in Richmond House with 4 of us and we cant complain about anything. When we arrived we were welcomed with a hot pot of tea. The rooms were huge, clean and authentic with their interiors. So dont worry about an old door knob :) Remarkable that the people who run the b&b took so much...
