Visited for lunch on a cold January day. Had beef stew for lunch beside a roaring fire. Divine! Good service, great location. The lounge is lovely, feels like a genuinely old Irish pub rather than the the manufactured "old" Irish bar you get in the city. It's right beside Glendalough so highly recommend it for lunch or dinner.

We are regular visitors to Lynhams Hotel and this was supposed to be a wonderful surprise for my wife who had been unwell for a good time. We booked a 3 night stay to include New Years Eve & New Years day to relax and unwind. We managed to have 1 good nights stay and the next evening the nightmare...

Dear Mr Lowry Firstly we would like to extend our sincerest apologies for your recent stay with us. As you are a regular guest here and have stayed many times you also know that this is the first time anything like this has ever happened in our hotel. Unfortunately when we check in our guests for their first ever stay...

Great little hotel in the heart of the Hills of Wicklow! The room was spacious and clean with a nice view over the nearby river. Reception was cheery and welcoming. The standout was the breakfast - highly recommended is the Full Irish Breakfast complete with Black and White Pudding! Morning service was cheerful, helpful and efficient!

Called in here for lunch on Saturday and we were told that they only do a carvery at 11.95 euros pp. It looked plain and the veg overcooked so we declined. Then we saw someone getting served chicken gougons & chips, so we asked again about the food available and we were informed by a different member of staff that...

We stayed just one night at Lynham's because we wanted to visit the Wicklow Mountains National Park and do some hiking and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We travelled via the St Kevins bus service from Dublin city centre which was quick and convenient as it drops you off/picks you up right across the street from the hotel. We arrived...

Visited Lynhams today for carvery lunch. Food was bland and overpriced for what we got. We ordered the beef, 1 thin slice with a load of tasteless veg piled high on a small plate. Then came the gravy, completely swamped the plate to the point we couldnt see the food. The guy on the till was rude, older guy, wiped...

The rooms were a very pleasant surprise. Updated and extremely comfortable. Beautiful setting along the river. Floors were squeaky, but everything was very clean. Staff worked hard to keep everyone in our group smiling. Very good resturant and pub attached.

The was a stop on our tour on the Wicklow hills. Excellent food and service. It's a carvery, I had roast turkey, my wife had salmon. Nice setting in the middle of town. Small creek out back with a walking trail.

We booked two nights here for a final stop on a brief driving tour of Ireland, with a view to being close to Dublin for our next departure. But this stay turned out to be one of our best. The hotel was luxurious, and the nearby historical sites fascinating (the Glendalough monastery). Our room was very large and well equipped;...
