Two of us spent a pleasant week here. The hotel is run by a nice and helpful couple and all the staff were really nice, friendly and efficient. Breakfast is a continental style with croissants, yoghurt, cereal followed by either a ham and tomato salad, a selection of cheeses or a fresh fruit selection. With Tea, coffee fruit juice and...

Easy walking to the town centre. Very friendly staff. Rooms a bit tired and elderly bathroom but it was okay. It had what you need and I didn't spend much time there. No wifi in the rooms. Breakfast was a nice surprise. Good value for money

Can highly recommend, although the hotel is a bit dated couldn't fault the owners Phil & Christina & their staff the care and attention they gave us. The continental breakfast was fantastic and the hotel was also handy for town centre.

Arrived late and were warmly welcomed. The owner run hotel is very well placed in the town for walking to everything and there is a lovely park (Howard Davis Park) and church ( St Luke's) 2 mins away with a memorial to the US pilots who died in a plane crash after WW2's occupation. Accommodation is comfortable and the breakfast...

This hotel is a hidden gem. I found it through a smoker-friendly website, and was a bit nervous before arriving as the rate was so cheap (apologies if I sound spoilt, but I usually stay in four/five star hotels). I anticipated very basic amenities and limited (if any) customer service - which I would not have complained about (as you...
