What a wonderful find! We booked an overnight stay and dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room (number 12) was spotlessly clean and very tasteful. Amazing linen. The delightful bathroom was a joy. Staff are attentive but not obtrusive. The food was very good, hot plates and tasty without being unduly fussy. Will definitely return.

We took advantage of the 3 nights for the price of 2 November deal and were so glad we chose to stay here. Our large first floor garden view room was very well-appointed with a spacious bathroom and extremely comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the welcoming log fire in the bar, the excellent cuisine and the attentive but unobtrusive service.... More

This is one of my two favorite hotels ever! There are smarter, prettier more central hotels. But here I'm welcomed like a friend and treated like a guest. The hotel is handsome the refurbished look is great, modern and fresh but somehow still cosey. Even on a busy Saturday I was able to find a quiet sofa to relax, The... More

We enjoyed every minute of our seven day stay at this lovely country hotel. Our room was nicely appointed, and the bathroom spacious. Our accommodations were arranged by our tour company, and it became our base for seven days of hiking around the island. Every meal was exquisite, the service was both friendly and accommodating. Even though the weather was... More

The Greenhills has nearly finished its £1m makeover and it's a big thumbs up from us. They've opened up the bar area so now it's much brighter and welcoming. They've also updated the restaurant menu. Try the crab starter and lamb wellington. Chef now gets the chance to show of a little and it's lovely. As ever, Carmelita Joe and... More

This is quite simply the best hotel in Jersey. Quiet, rural, professionally managed, brilliantly run, and - above all - wonderfully personal in an age of impersonal chains. It's a tribute to everyone involved that the multi-million pound refit has done nothing to dent the boutique country-house atmosphere: it's still as cosy and intimate as ever, just a little better.... Returned here after a couple of years and we were not disappointed. The hotel has had a complete make over apart from the odd area which is being tackled this coming winter. We enjoyed the 3 night special ( 3 for 2 offer ) which is a really good way of getting people in over the quieter months. The rooms... More

I've stated at the Greenhills some years ago, I revisited on the 22nd of October with a friend for a long weekend. The hotel has had a very tasteful refurbishment, the bar area is so much better open & airy, it's very welcoming when you enter, the bedroom we stayed had a lovely modern look everything was lovely & new.... Three nights became four after our plane broke down. Notwithstanding our difficulties the hotel found rooms again and provided a delicious dinner. The three days preceding were equally lovely. We shared a dinner with a Jersey charity and saw amazingly hard working staff and management determined to make the evening a success.
