Let down by the food....we had the lasagna and the tagliatelle (with pesto and chicken) and we were disappointed. Quantity was a child size and was overpriced. We could have cooked a better quality lunch at home. Staff were excellent and location beautiful. Worth a visit.

This place is fine for a quick drink or a quick bite to eat of you are starving or very thirsty on your way elsewhere. The location is beautiful- herons standing in fast flowing river under an ornate bridge however the bottom line is its a Marstons. Grubby menus, uninspired pub grub, the smell of chip fat wafting from the...

The Fisherman's Cot was a lovely B&B to stay at. Enjoyed it a great deal. All the staff were exceptional, particularly the general manager Juanita, who was very efficient and accommodating as our water pressure dropped, and we did not have any hot water. She very quickly got on the case and it was fixed in minutes. She also offered...

Lunchtime was very bustling but staff efficient & food delivered quite promptly. My gammon, egg & chips was OK, difficult to rave about that dish anyway. Beer excellent. Overall it was as expected & I would visit again.

We stayed here for one night on our way back from holiday. We booked a family room (no.20) and also met other family there for an evening meal. All the staff we encountered were friendly and polite and the atmosphere was relaxed. The kids meals were excellent and presented the same way adult meals are. The kids loved running around...

Hello Charlotte, Thank you for taking the time to write this fantastic review. We are thrilled to hear you all had a lovely time on the way back from your holiday. Room 20 is a fantastic family room, one of my favourites actually. I am sure it was great to let the children run round the garden before you journeyed...

Lovely pub/restaurant, staff were very accommodating and even though we did not book a table we were found a table on both occasions we visited straight away even though it was really busy. We both had the gammon the 1st time it was ok but did not come with the vine tomatoes as indicated on the menu, chips weren't the...

Myself and my fiancé arrived for the Easter weekend to have a relaxing get away. I had requested early check in when I booked in Oct 2016 but that hadn't registered which wasn't an issue so we had some lunch while we waited. Once 2:00pm hit, we went to check in. This is where the problems began. Due to the...

We had a day out in Devon, visiting a garden and in the evening we went by Bickley. Wonderful eatery next to the river.
