We have just returned from a weekend break to this hotel. I have to thank them for the professional way they dealt with a mix up with the date of booking. We turned up on a Saturday but they had the booking for Sunday. A room was found for us with no fuss. The hotel is quirky. Has lovely character...

The hotel was well situated with views overlooking the bay,but you have to pay more for the privilege.the rooms are tastefully decorated with a fairly small bathroom but adequate.the shops are quite nearby and there is a big car park nearby although the hotel supplies you with a permit to use theirs which is 300yards down the road.the staff are...

Period hotel, bit dated but wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. Bedroom 14 overlooking Brixham Harbour - charming! Receptionist/waiter/bartender (A man of many heads) recommended the maritime Inn - see separate review!

Lovely location. Room overlooking harbour. Room small but comfortable. Staff friendly. The hotel could probably do with a bit of up dating. However the bathroom was nice and the bed very comfortable Breakfast was really good and my smoked haddock was huge!

The hotel and pub are in renovated 'fishermen's' cottages, and the road outside is narrow and steep. My husband dropped off the luggage (which included me!) and went off to the hotel car park situated up the hill. Our welcome was warm and effusive. A young porter was on tap to carry our bag up to our room, which daughter...

Although this Hotel is a little dated and there are lots of stairs..the staff/service and food far outway any negatives. the car park is about 5mins walk away but the hotel give you a permit to park. Our room no 17 was very warm but it did have a air con machine in. The food was excellent and would encourage...

The recent stay was somewhat pleasant. As per other reviews the hotel has somewhat dated décor, but nevertheless it was always clean and tidy. There is evidence that housekeeping duties are being carried out on a daily basis. The hotel has a connecting pub, which again was fine. They had a good selection of beers and ales – beware of...

There is a luggage drop off outside as the car park is a walk away. The welcome wasn't great. The room was adequate. But the fire doors on the stairs were left open, and the chatter and laughter from the bar at the bottom of the stairs was a problem. Breakfast came with hard yolked eggs and dry bacon and...

We booked a one night stay with dinner . A warm welcome on arrival set the tone for the stay . Car parking is about 300 yards from the Hotel , but ok to park outside the front door to load/unload. Our room overlooking the harbour was clean and comfortable ,but quite bijou as you might expect in a period...
