We only wanted a light lunch and stopped here. The decor of the interior is much better than you expect from outside. We both had sandwiches, beautifully presented and tasting good, they were good value for £5 each.

Apart from other reviews of this hotel,we stayed here for 2 nights this week and found the manager and staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and evening meals we had were excellent.Rooms very clean and comfortable.I only have 1 criticism and that is,the hotel is next to a very busy main road just off the A38 which can be a...

Visited this Inn twice during March 2017. Recently refurbished and very pleasant interior. Recommend visiting the restaurant as we enjoyed our meals there. On our first visit we chose a meal and dessert from their Value Menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the main meal and the dessert because they were both of a good size and sufficient for our...

Appalling from the start, management is dire, attitude is awful. Food was substandard, have sent an official complaint to Old English Inns - will keep them informed of the sloppy service and sub standard food. They embarrassingly demanded a tip after we waited over 40 minutes for a main course. In protest of their dirty outfits and appalling lack of...

I was given a two night complimentary stay to remedy some issues that I experienced with another property on the Olde English Inns estate. I chose this venue as fairly near my home and in a really nice area. The accommodation in the room we had was very good, although up three flights of stairs, recently re furbished and despite...

We have stayed in many of the Old English Inns over the years for short breaks so we were looking forward to staying here too but I was a little alarmed when I read some of the reviews and wished I had read them before we booked. However I needn't have worried as we didn't encounter any of the problems...

How lovely to find this Inn with updated rooms so near wonderful countryside. Brilliant value for money accommodation alongside a wide range of food all served by friendly staff. Make sure you don't pass by this good value inn.

First visit to this restaurant and not happy, tried to order mains and my first two choices were not available, settled for my third choice. Then it was time for dessert and you can imagine I couldn't believe it when yet again I was being told they didn't have my choice. When food did arrive, the main was the deluxe...

I have eaten here a few times , on my own when I've been working in the area and with friends who happen to live in nearby Totnes... the food and the service are always superb. It's very family friendly and has great access if you are not so 'light on your feet' . It has a warm welcoming atmosphere.

We have dined at the dart bridge numerous times, mainly due to the great menu choice and the locality to the A38 it's a convenient place to stop off..the last couple of times we have been disappointed with the service, the first time it happened we had friends with us from Yorkshire it was a fairly busy Sunday early eve peak season...
