The Three Crowns is a really nice old cottage offering the ambience of a country house with fine service and friendly efficient staff. set in a lovely village on the edge of Dartmoor; It was a very nice surprise and we decided to stay 2 nights. The pub with chimney is so delightful after a day of visit and walk....

The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was well appointed and spacious (7). Great atmosphere in the bar. The food is art on a plate. The full English breakfast is superb! Look forward to going back.

We paid extra for a room upgrade, the receptionist implied there was plenty of rooms available as there is restricted car parking and we were able to park. The room was tired with scrapes along the paintwork. We have had such super rooms at the Royal Exeter Bournemouth and the Town House at Oxford in the past month, this room...

We stopped off here (two adults and a baby) en route from Cornwall to Wiltshire. The building is interesting and sits in a commanding position by the road through Chagford (this was how it first caught my attention some months previous). The room was large, though smelt musty/damp (it was one off the courtyard to the rear of the restaurant...

Visiting from US and stayed with my sister. Met up with family from Wales and 9 of us had a great dinner. Menu was good and food was great. A great pub and hotel with lots of local charm, alway love our visits to Chagford, such a special place hidden away in Devon

Enjoyable. Clean, friendly staff and the place has character. Nothing really to dislike or grumble about. Have been here several times and it is a good place to stay. Room 15 is a lovely room but all rooms are good.

Booked this venue as a late deal and with most things like that you tend not to get too excited. However, I was over the moon with this delightful hotel and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble, the hotel layout retaining a lot of its original character while also embracing modern aspects. The room didn't disappoint either and was...

We stayed at this atmospheric hotel for a special birthday in a party of nine. Nothing was too much trouble for the charming and hardworking staff. We all had good rooms and the bars and dining rooms each had their own special atmosphere. The food was great and the service was excellent. One of our group suffered from a back...

We stayed here on Valentine's night and ate in the glass house restaurant. The staff were very friendly, helpful, attentive and professional. The food was superb and local sourced. There was a good selection, both on the Valentine's menu and on the standard one too. The pub is very well furnished, with modern and traditional areas combined very tastefully. Our...
