Dropped in here one afternoon after seeing the sign on the roadside - hoping to find a decent cream tea. Boy, was I in for a treat. After being warmly welcomed by the hostess, we were led into a lovely sitting room overlooking the moor. To follow, first the scent and then a plate of warm, home-baked scones, strawberry jam...

A fantastic weekend here as part of a family group to celebrate some milestones. Very accommodating and friendly staff to humans as well as dogs (dog biscuits come as part of a packed lunch!). Food was superb and all rooms were elegant and comfortable. Thank you all very much.

Used to come to Prince Hall a lot but have only been once in last 10 years since current owners took over due to family life overtaking social life! Myself and husband enjoyed dinner here on Saturday evening. Am so happy to say that this time it was even better than we remembered previously. Food and service was absolutely superb....

Went for a special meal to celebrate a close colleagues retirement. The food was amazing. Portions on the whole over generous especially on the a la crate menu and a cheese plate large enough to feed a family of four!!! Very little to criticise!! Will being returning soon

Excellent location and a really friendly staff. Love the dogs that roam around the hotel. The food is really top class. The hotel is right in middle of Dartmoor Natiknal Park. It's a beautiful old grade 2 rated house with open fires. I highly recommend this new find - I will certainly be back.

Lovely lunch with spectacular views over Dartmoor. Had to wait a bit to be served on a busy day but duck confit mouth-watering and worth the wait. Staff cheerful and welcoming after a disappointing visit to another hotel. Very, very dog friendly. Great walking all round. Wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in July and it is a great location. We were also able to take our dog and she loved it as well ( particularly the dog biscuits ! ). We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was superb. The atmosphere here is great and it almost feels like...

We visited Prince Hall Hotel for lunch. We arrived a little early and were given the option of going straight to our table or drinking in the lounge. Slight disaster with no Bombay Sapphire (although on menu) but well recovered with wide range of fever tree tonics - so all was well. Lunch menu included some quite heavy (and large)...

Thank you for your review. We are currently updating our gin menu and unfortunately it was at the printers having changes added to it when you popped in. We try to stock a diverse section of Gins, but I do apologize and hope you thoroughly enjoyed trying a different Gin. Hope to see you again in the near future. Kindest...

Where do I start. We thought the Hotel was cosy ,warm and homely and in the most beautiful seting you would never tire of. we choose this Hotel because it was dog friendly and the only place they could not go was the restaurant, which was fine by us as it was our dogs holiday just as much as ours....
