We have just returned from a long weekend at Sandaway Beach. It was our first stay on a holiday park. It was really nice. The check-in procedure was easy and I had the key to our caravan within minutes. Once we arrived at our caravan, we found it to be very clean and tidy. We booked a silver grade caravan...

Booked via The Sun newspaper promotion. Reception staff lovely, maintenance staff round the site, polite and friendly. The site is immaculate, a very pleasant environment. The pool is small but usable for little ones on a warm summer's day.The club area smelled of paint, but was clean and they're probably getting ready for the season to start. We didn't use...

Hello Seren I was saddened to read your thoughts regarding your stay at our holiday park. Unfortunately, there are one or two items in your review, which are quite worrying. I don't quite understand why you would expect poor accommodation. The amount you pay has nothing to do with standards - after all, the caravans are the same ones whether...

Hello Joanne What a lovely review! Thank you, we really appreciate it. Your 5 star praise will mean so much to the manager, Glyn and his team at the park. They all work extremely hard to make everyone’s stay enjoyable. We look forward to welcoming you again very soon. Pat Guest Relations Manager

Stayed here for a bank holiday weekend in august. My brother was getting married and we needed somewhere reasonably priced to stay. The chalet was disgusting, think it had been shut up the whole of the summer. cobwebs, smelly, mouldy, woodlice on the floor, Leaking showerhead over the bath. did not feel comfortable getting ready here for a wedding. the...

Hello Marsha I am very sorry that the accommodation provided during your recent stay with us did not meet your expectations. This is a very popular holiday park and the chalets are in constant use. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sandaway Beach Holiday Park stands on a low cliff at the very edge of the ocean with breathtaking sea views. Three minutes walk down a picturesque stepped path brings you to Sandaway Beach, privately owned by us, a rocky foreshore and a sprinkling of sand but a real sun trap and haven of peace and quiet, but beware of the tides. A short scramble over the rocks takes you to our secret spot, Mermaid's Cove, this is truly a place of magic and tranquillity for that really quiet swim or sunbathe. Relax with a cool drink in our Smuggler's Bar, take in the superb sea, and Exmoor views. Enjoy excellent pub grub, and basket meals from our Chef's Corner, and view our nightly family entertainment in our clubhouse. A feature of Sandaway is our lovely kidney shaped swimming pool. There is a well stocked shop, take-away meals, pool table, amusements, a special indoor children's soft play area and an outdoor playground. ... more   less
