We visited the Royal Beacon Hotel for Lunch on Mothering Sunday. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful on arrival. The menu had a great selection which was great, but then made it very hard to choose :-) The starters were served promptly. The roast beef was just delicious, served on hot plates with great selection of seasonal Vegetables. The...

We booked in today for lunch with the family. All staff were so welcoming and very attentive. The roast was the best I have had for a very long time. The beef was melt in your mouth, finished off with just an amazing Lemon Posset. The dinning room looked lovely. Thank you very much to all of you for a...

Wonderful bedroom looking out to the water. Great helpful staff. Good food in the bar and very nice brekky. Only drawback was the heating was not on. Very cold day and draughty old windows didnt help, but for us well worth it for the view. Although the Hotel is in need of a bit of tlc, thats partly why we...

A friendly, professionally run hotel in a superb location, with a restaurant and food to die for. All presided over by an incomparable Maître D. Although I go to the hotel mainly on business trips I would happily stay there on holiday as it is consistently excellent

The view in the courtyard rooms is not so nice, and it is little bit noisy.Window cleaning, i think from time is not bad! The mattress in the room 407 was more then old fashion. The breakfast and...
