Lovely quiet location, great rooms and friendly staff. Add to this a fabulous restaurant and you have all the ingredients for a superb weekend. That is exactly what we had, Chris and the rest of the team made it feel like a home from home. We will be returning in the future

I'm just back from another weekend at this lovely hotel. I decided to write a nice review because we had such a lovely time, and it looks as if the last Tripadvisor review given was in August 2015 - also from me! Anyhow, we had a lovely time and our now 4 year old had a wonderful time playing hide...

Turning off the B3165 you pass fields of solar panels following in the directions through quiet country lanes to the secluded Fairwater Head Hotel. Hawkchurch with its community shop is about half a mile distant from the hotel. The hotel takes a deposit of the first night’s accommodation when they confirm the booking within seven days of arrival. We received...

The public areas of this hotel are fantastic. A nice library area and lounge. Breakfast was superb and great owners/staff. A major problem was the low temperature in the bedroom. There was a heater in the wardrobe, but only discovered it on the second evening. The hot water pressure is also a bit low meaning that the shower is a...

My husband, son and I stayed at this lovely, comfortable hotel in October and were made to feel so welcome for the whole of our stay. Adam, Carrie and Chris were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We had beautiful adjoining rooms in the main house, which were very clean, comfortable and well furnished. Dinner was delicious from...

Booked somewhat on spec from reviews on TA. Very pleasantly surprised, room was very spacious (room 4) and clean. Excellent little touch was a welcome pack for our little dogs - really neat. We had dinner in the restaurant, and i have to say it was amazing - really special. Service was impeccable too! 5 stars well deserved!!

We arrived here last Thursday in lovely weather. The outside of the hotel was very promising - it is in a wonderful and peaceful position and the house is lovely. The staff - well the only two we saw - were extremely helpful and polite and we were duly shown to our room which was in the added on wing....

A smart hotel and our superior room in the main house was a good size. The furniture in the bedroom was a little dated/shabby although the bed was good. The was very poor water pressure on the shower. The main lounge and dinning room were well furnished and smart. Overall a good hotel if a little over priced.

Beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful. The room was basic but clean. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. A very nice weekend away for our wedding anniversary, thoroughly enjoyable.
