We booked the grange for a week stay for friends, some who had children. The property is a lovely size and layout which provides plenty of space for separate couples and families. The garden is great for the dog and there are loads of lovely walks from the property. A visit to Rockham beach is a must and we even...

What an amazing place. Reviews have sometimes been a little 'mixed' but this splendid mansion suited our requirements perfectly. We almost filled it with 14 adults and 6 kids (plus one dog) and each 'family' could have their own almost independent space for sleeping and showering, but all could eat together in the huge dining room. Ample parking too. We...

Lovely house for a large family gathering. Lots of space. Great views. Lots of walks close to the beach. Lots of games for children. Lovely village with tea rooms and three pubs . Local shops. Good bus service.

We stayed last summer and staying again this summer. Fantastic house with lots of room for all. Gardens and grounds vast and views great. Not complete luxury but you wouldn't want that with toddlers and young children running around. Pity it's not a bit closer to London as the drive is the only tricky part!

Visited The Grange for the first time in December 2013 and fell in love with the house and the area. My second visit 6 months later was just as good. The house is a spectacular property, admittedly with a slightly unusual layout, although if you go with a large group/multiple families it gives everyone a little more privacy. Plenty of...

We have just come back from a weekend break at The Grange. There were 14 of us and we all had our own bedrooms with lots of extra room too. The location is perfect and the house is set in beautiful grounds. The house is huge with lots of room for everyone to relax. It is a short drive to...

We stayed for a second time in October 2013, with a view to having a relaxing week. For four of the six days that we were there, we had a team of tree surgeons and their associated chainsaws and vehicles, working from nine in the morning until four in the afternoon. We were not told about this, only from an...

The guests had stayed at the Grange before and rebooked because they and enjoyed their stay at...

We had a wonderful week's holiday at the Grange. We went as part of a large group for a celebration, and it was the perfect location. It is absolutely huge, and was able to accommodate four families with 8 children with ease. The amazing amount of space meant that we were able to enjoy time as a group while still...

We spent a long time looking for the perfect location for my 40th birthday celebration and I am happy to say we found the best. The location had to meet some stringent criteria: Large enough to take 5 families (the family groups were 2+1, 2+1, 2+4, 2+2,2+2) Suit children between 7months and 7 years Be close to the beach Be...

This was the fifth time a big group of us twenty-somethings have stayed at the Grange, in five years! I think their regular clientele are large families but it suits us just as well as a base for the beach, surfing, golf and walking activities. The house is an absolute warren, 2 huge sitting rooms, the biggest dining table I've...
