My partner, 2 year old son and I stayed here over the weekend. We had a fantastic time, beautiful rooms, fantastic food and a lovely couple running it! Will defiantly return when we're next in the area. Highly recommend!

My partner and I have just returned from a gorgeous couple of days down on the coast. Stacey and Will made us feel very comfortable in their guest house. They couldn't be more welcoming. We arrived on Friday and before taking a trip into the village for dinner we enjoyed a drink downstairs, in Miss Fea's cafe. A great setting...

This was our first visit here ...we had been in the area previously and the coffee shop was nice ...pretty chilled and relaxing & Lovely people ...cracking little place ....great food ....so next time we were down this way we thoughts let's stay there ...and we weren't disappointed, lovely friendly welcome .....simple comfortable rooms all ensure ....and freshly decorated ...plenty...

Had a great stay in Morthoe at The Smugglers Rest . Very friendly couple and ideal location . Quaint village with stunning scenery. Great place for walkers and dog lovers . Will definitely be visiting again .

Very Pleasant with Stacey & Will. Great enthusiasm all round, wishing them every success on their new venture. Pleasant to be there and will return. Extremely good breakfast, and clean and tidy rooms.

We’re rather happy having returned from a great weekend trip to the Smugglers. This B&B is in a lovely hamlet with some fantastic walks and countryside straight out of the door. It felt like just us and the sheep on most of the coastal paths! The café was a real treat, a lovely place to eat the (awesome) breakfast and...

My wife and I (and small dog) stayed 4 nights in a large comfortable room. Stacey & Will were very welcoming and made our stay so enjoyable. The breakfasts are wonderful, we've never had better. The area is fantastic for walks, beaches, wildlife spotting etc with stunning coastal scenery.Thoroughly recommended and would return in a heartbeat!

WE have just spent two very pleasant nights at The Smugglers Rest accompanied by our rather large English Setter Harry . From start to finish we were made welcome especially Harry . Will and Stacey were very friendly and helpful . The breakfast was cooked beautifully , well sourced and accompanied by great coffee . The café has been done...

We visited with the family and absolutely loved it! Spacious family room, very kind and welcoming host and a delicious freshly made breakfast! The warm croissants and home made jams were amazing!! Mortehoe is a lovely small village immediately next to Woolecombe with a few great pubs and little eateries. Right next to the hotel starts the mist beautiful coastal...

Will and Stacy are so welcoming, we stayed for 2 nights, breakfast was fabulous nothing was too much trouble for these fabulous hosts, the newly renovated cafe/ breakfast room was very tastefully done. We had a great stay.

The BnB is open from the 27th May 2016 The Smugglers Rest offers 8 spacious en suite rooms, boasting stunning countryside views, and will eventually host evening dining events and live music. Whether you fancy soaking up the summer sun in the lovely sheltered garden, or snuggling next to the cosy wood burning stove with a steaming mug of hot chocolate, The Smugglers Rest BnB and Miss Fea's Cafe offers a friendly welcome all year round. The menu of delicious snacks, generously filled sandwiches and light bites will be fresh and seasonal, incorporating locally sourced produce to offer a taste of the very best that Devon has to offer. Our freshly ground coffees, teas and tasty fruit juices and smoothies are perfectly accompanied by chef Stacey's mouthwatering cakes and sweet treats. We will also serve a selection of quality wines, spirits and local and craft beers.
