My partner had made a booking at 'The White House' up the road. After a disasterous journey down (resulting in a car breaking down and being left in Weymouth, and getting a taxi to Bridport) we discovered that The White House had been sold in February and they had no record of our booking. So essentialy stranded in Bridport with...

A nice welcome especially as I had not booked. A lovely bright and very comfortable room with TV, tea and coffee and the most comfortable bed I've slept in for years !!! There is a lounge for guests and a terrace and garden you are welcome to use. Definitely recommend this place.

We arrived in Bridport and went to the tourist office for suggestions on where to stay. Close to West Bay to walk to dinner, our room overlooked fields extending to the ocean. Staff and owner were great, breakfast was good and we recommend it. We will stay there again when we return.

Stayed here for 3 nights in June 2014, the two of us and our dog. Perfect location in so far as directly behind the accommodation there are fields where dogs are permitted to roam (etc!), and, from there it's only a short 10min walk to the sea front, shops & restaurants so you don't have to walk along the main...

A fabulous B&B less than 10 minutes walk from the sea. I stayed at Britmead House for one night with my husband and border terrier. We were made to feel very welcome and given a ground floor room. We were told we could park just outside of our window so felt very secure. The room was tastefully furnished and very...
