We arrived here as a young family of five, One 6 month old baby, two under 8's, a young mum looking to relax and one very picky father in myself! I had heard about the vineyard and I have to say it exceeded our expectations. The views are simply stunning, The house is decorated superbly throughout, Quirky cupboards, extra beds... More

Arriving as a family groups of 19 adults and seven children including a very young baby, the Vineyard was perfect. Homely and welcoming but with the added WOW factor, the space, magnificent views, gardens and the games rooms for the older children; all added to the perfect 60th birthday. The fire in the lounge, the fire pit in the garden... More

We stayed here for a week, shared between 8 families Really nice accommodation, well stocked kitchen, BBQ outside and a fire pit. All the rooms were well maintained. The lounge area is in an L shape, only issue, if TV on, the sound carries. Excellent location Our main issue was getting into the place as the owners were totally unobtainable... More

This is a fabulous house for large family/friends weekends or holidays. We had a party of 14 adults, although the house can sleep up to 25. The good things... Location - a 10 minute drive from Swanage, 30 minute drive from Weymouth and so many other beautiful places to visit. Grounds - the house is set back from the road... More

Fabulous weekend away. Beautiful surroundings. Plenty of room to move around without getting in each others way. Maybe needs a hot water tap or hot water wall device instead of kettle. Wifi poor. Think internet was down for a couple of weeks prior and not been fixed!

We went to the Purbeck Vineyard for a couple of special family birthday and it was amazing. All rooms had on ensuite so as our party was mainly couples they had the own privacy. The views were stunning over the vineyard down to the railway. The kitchen was well equipped, and the decor was smart and modern. We used the... More

All the family stayed for Christmas 2015 and I cannot recommend it highly enough.Having 11 ensuite rooms was perfect as everyone had their own space with oodles of communal space too.The property boasts three different sitting areas, one with a roaring log fire,a cinema style room, another coffee area and then another sitting/play area in the entrance hall - space in abundance!Immediately... Booked this for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and was not disappointed. It's not often you find a large house with all the bedrooms en-suite like this as most large houses are relatively old. All rooms were furnished to a very good standard. Our party consisted of 20 close friends and family and enjoyed every minute. Plenty of cutlery, cups saucers... More

17 of us stayed here for a family get together in February - mixed ages from 17 - 86 and a little dog! It was just right for our needs - all the rooms were nicely decorated, the living areas were spacious and plenty of them so we were not on top of each other and the gardens and views... More

This place is now a large self catering property avaliable for group hire. We stayed here with 5 young kids and 15 adults for a long weekend to celebrate our 40th years. The house is lovely, lots of space, nice well maintained rooms, and facilities throughout. A beautiful big garden with views over the valley with the local steam trained... More
