This place is a hidden gem! The room and bathroom was spotless clean and Wendy and Lee were very welcoming. Breakfast was really good, just wish we had more time to see Lee's wooden carvings which were displayed around the gardens. Will be back for sure.

I booked the room for the Friday night after looking at the other options available and this place is by far and away the best in the vicinity. Wendy and Lee were incredibly welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much. The house was impeccably tidy and clean. The room was comfortable and spacious with a fantastic ensuite. I had to...

Once again I much enjoyed my stay at Gorse Farm. My room was spotless, spacious and well furnished with a comfortable bed. The private bathroom was also spotless, spacious and with an excellent shower. An excellent breakfast was served in a conservatory that guests can use. I highly recommend Wendy's poached eggs! Wendy and Lee are super hosts. Highly recommend...

We first stayed here a year ago and our four night visit this year was as good as ever. Wendy and Lee are truly lovely hosts, the accommodation and breakfast are five star and their home is a delight, featuring Lee's talented wood carving in house and garden.

Chose this farm because it was off the beaten track but well placed for the beautiful Dorset countryside, and we were not disappointed. Lovely quiet room, excellent breakfast and well informed hosts : the AA book of local walks they provided really helped us discover the area. As others have said, a hidden gem indeed.

Thank-you Wendy & Les for looking after us so well last weekend. You have a beautiful home, thanks for sharing it with us. Although not en-suite the private bathroom was excellent. Our double room was large with lots of nice touches; including the bits & pieces Tupperware. Your recommendation for restaurants & our visit to Stourhead yesterday was perfect. We...

We have just spent a night in this lovely B and B and couldn't fault a thing! The breakfast was delicious (lots of locally sourced foods) and our room was most comfortable. Wendy and Lee were delightful hosts and made us feel so welcome. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

My partner, Drew and I stayed in this beautiful B&B during a short visit to see some friends. The owners, Wendy and Lee are delightful and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. Loved our room: so comfortable, cosy and with beautiful views of the gardens. The breakfast was excellent - loved this B&B - value for money,...

A friendly welcome and helpfulness in our house hunting. Excellent breakfast too. An A1 bed and breakfast in a lovely setting. Don't miss glorious Sherborne Abbey and eat at the Dinig Room, Sherborne.

We stayed at this B &B about three years ago, needed to be in Dorset for two days so just had to return as we had enjoyed our previous stay so much. Our visit this time has not changed our opinion. It is difficult to find anything to say that hasn't been said before, other than agree with all the...
