Visited for a birthday lunch. Excellent menu, setting and quality food. Friendly very efficient service. Reasonable priced lunch menu. Lovely restaurant overlooking garden and river. Lovely gardens to wander around on a good day.

Just one word. ‘Fabulous ‘. Truly a five star experience , the food was superb and the new restaurant extension creates a lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent, this is a gem of a restaurant that will not disappoint, I look forward to returning.

A small number of parking spaces in front of the hotel I believe but Wareham has a plenty of parking within a short walking distance.

Yes you can run along the riverside path towards the sea which is part of the Purbeck way. It may get a bit muddy in the late Autumn and Winter
