A traditional style hotel & bar serving top quality food in a great ambience. Wide range of dishes and drinks. Also used for wedding receptions. Excellent service & staff. Suitable for groups or singles.

We spent three weeks in Ireland and this was our favorite hotel and restaurant both. It was a beautiful and cozy place for a stay in November but I found myself wishing that I could return and enjoy the gardens and patios in the summer, too. The rooms are charming with an old world feel but with updated amenities. The...

Excellent hotel with rich history. I had a warm welcome from a well prepared staff who made my stay pleasant. The building is old but beautifully preserved. It has maintained many individual features without any loss of comfort. The cuisine is excellent. I entertained friends from a varied menu featuring fresh local produce. My bedroom was charming, lacking only comfortable...

Saturday late lunch, group 0f 8. Whilst the hotel was busy, as one waitress pointed out when asked for something, its no excuse for slow service. Busy? Get more staff on. The food was lovely, nicely presented but more importantly tasty. However, the dining chairs were awful - wicker style, uncomfortable and certainly no back support. So we had to...

Booked the Old Crawsfordsburn Inn for a family celebration and half or guest came away (myself included) saying that the food was just average to poor. The staff were very attentive/engaging and a pleasure to deal with but the food really let the place down. The Calamari starter was cold, rubbery and boring. The crispy chilli chicken was compared to...

As we arrived there was a queue of people waiting to be checked-in as there is only one receptionist. Once we got to the front, were then told where the room was located but note I was told there is no lift for getting to any rooms on a different floor, just the stairs. The room was very quaint however...

Went for afternoon tea on Xmas Eve. This place is charming, an authentic old inn in a lovely village. We were sat in the library, which was cosy and atmospheric. The tea was lovely and plenty for two. I can't give it 5 stars however because the service left a bit to be desired. Once grub was served, the waiters...

Called in this place on the 28th of December to get out of the house and decided to try this place, as I had never eaten here, arrived at 1:30, without a reservation and was promptly given a table for 2 and made to feel very welcome, the restaurant being busy it was not a problem in getting the table....
