We booked this accommodation through hotels.com and we chose the booking based on the information on the website. We needed somewhere to stay overnight nearer the Belfast ferry, as we had travelled all day from the south west coast of Ireland. We were given what was described as the blue suite, and discovered the next day that the landing outside...

We had heard great reviews if this place and decided to visit for my wife's birthday. When we arrived, we walked in to find a little old lady watching television..we soon realised this was Anna. She hadn't a clue who we were, or which room we were staying in, eventually her husband arrived, and showed us to our room, which...

Sorry but we won't be back..... the family were lovely by our room was anything but. The owner said the last person said there was a smell in the room but he couldn't smell anything and if wee wanted spray just to ask. The room instantly smelt of pee and was quite strong so can't understand why the owners didn't...

Superb B&B. Hosts Anna and Ken were an absolute delight, and as for Avril's breakfasts, well.....you just have to go to try and you won't be disappointed 😀 A fabulous spot outside Belfast ( best to have a car) beautiful views in a tranquil spot, some excellent restaraunts to sample in the vicinity. When travelling, it is always a pleasure to find a piano to play, so that was a big draw for me here. Aside from that, the bed was very comfy - the mattress was reasonably firm and the bed linen was nice and soft. We stayed in the Green Room and had a little balcony with views over the lake....

My stay with Anna and Ken was delightful. It's a little bit out of the way but that just adds to the charm. The location is perfect for visiting the whole of County Down from Downpatrick, the Mourne Mountains and the Ballynoe stone circle to Scrabo Tower, Newtownards and Strangeford Lough and Bagor to Belfast. You do need a car,...

From the homemade biscuits and coffee on arrival to the linen bed sheets and super breakfast this establishment was a delightful "home from home" experience. Wasn't sure about communal breakfast but surprised myself by greatly enjoying the easy conversation with Americans and Portuguese. The honesty bar, fresh flowers from the garden and papers on Sunday morning were the icing on the...

Very disappointed with our stay here. This is not a quaint Guesthouse as the website would suggest, but very much an average B&B at best with very expensive prices. The hosts were very nice people but it didn't make up for the extremely small room with a stale/damp odor or the very poor breakfast. In fact breakfast was a comedy...

Basing our booking solely on their website we saw no cause to doubt its veracity, however, we were more than a tad disappointed overall given that we paid £110 for a double room with ensuite which could at best be described as homely, but certainly not luxurious. The room was small and dark and all the mechanics involved in the...

We had a lovely reception by the owners of Anna's house. Tea in the quirky lounge with a great view out of the massive windows. After dinner, I was asked to play my celtic harp but also theit grand piano. It is a lovely place to stay.
