Our room was recently updated, very clean and was surprisingly large, as was the bathroom. Great beds and pillows as well. Also a very nice pub downstairs.

Walked in off the street and booked the room as we had been let down by our original reservation somewhere else. Very helpful staff, showed us the room prior to actually taking the reservation.

Anstruther was an excellent base for our visit to the area. We found Crail too small and quiet when we visited. The Bank is a pub with sports screens at the front which we used to watch the rugby, but also a lovely well kept...More

There are no lifts, however I recall seeing one room on the ground floor adjacent to the stairway...and the room has a sea view which is very nice. I personally found the sea view rooms very small, so I don't think they are well suited if the guest uses a walker or wheelchair. The rooms facing the street are huge, but are only accessible by the stairs. There are two separate entrances - one for the pub/restaurant and one for the rooms and both have one step to navigate.
