Nice hotel, rooms a little tired but clean. Food good, staff friendly and genuine in their friendliness. Worth paying the supplement for a sea facing view. Sky tv in the bar for those that want to watch sport.

We stayed here 2 nights, the room on the 2nd floor was small but very clean with comfy bed, gorgeous fluffy white towels. However the room was above the kitchen and it was noisy first thing in the morning as the noise from breakfast preparation. We has a meal on the first night and it was very tasty, the weather... We were here recently on a one night stay (voucher deal) which included breakfast and an evening meal. The hotel is situated in a little village at the harbour. Externally, it didn't look like much, but once we were inside, it was lovely - a very traditional, nautical theme in the public areas - upstairs dining room is amazing! Our... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was great. The breakfast is up there with the best we have had in hotel or cafe spot on. We had evening meal on 2 of our 3 nights and again the food was first class. The room was a bit small but at the end of the day you only sleep... More

I stayed 2 nights in room 10 on 1st floor over looking the harbour with my mum. The twin bedroom was spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome and nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was served efficiently and there was good variety of healthy options as well as traditional cooked breakfast. We had... More

We stayed here from 17th - 20th October 2016 and have had a brilliant time. The hotel has lots of character and the staff are very sociable and friendly. Our room was facing the beach and the sound of the waves when the tide came in was amazing, lapping right up to the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and... More

Stayed here for two nights which we enjoyed. Our room, room 8, had a superb view over the shoreline. We dined here on both nights of our visit and found the pub style food to be good and reasonably priced. The staff overall were friendly and efficient but further training on wines and customer awareness is required with some of... More

We stayed at the Crusoe from the 3rd to the 6th October following a rather good internet promotion. On booking with the hotel we were offered a room upgrade to a sea view room from a harbour view room for a very reasonable fee. This appears to be an annual promotion making a short break excellent value for money. The... More
