We had an excellent evening meal at this pub. The service was excellent and friendly. We had a lovely home cooked meal. Others in the pub were friendly and 1 was enjoying a meal especially designed for him.

Well, we were going to book here for a night later on in the year but we've changed our mind, drastically!! Very tired looking lounge with ripped upholstery and I don't mean in just one or two places... How hard is it to take an order for a couple of toasties, a mug of soup and a portion of chips?...

Tables were cramped together so that as many people as possible could make as much money as possible. The menu was very limited and had to be advised in advance. To start, my melon might have been edible if served in...

A simple afternoon drink of coffees and beers. Certainly the dining area looked very well presented but the seats in the pub are in need of refurbishment. It must be very difficult to make this sort of place in this very quiet time in a quiet area pay but it does need some attention. The beers -belhaven- were OK and...

Stopped on the way back from two weeks abroad. Absolutely disgusting. The photos speak for themselves. Worst place I have ever stayed. Dirt everywhere, bed sheets not clean, dirt all over sink, cobwebs and to top it off horrendous noise from freight trains all night and no double glazing. Wipe your feet on the way out !
