very clean, friendly owner, great view, lots of parking, dog friendly, handy for ferry, near shops. towels provided, basic kitchen equipment, television and clean bedding. enjoyed our stay, would stay again.

I stayed at a beautiful apartment on the shore of Brodick, The Shorehouse. Jim, the owner greeted us and took us to our lovely studio in the front of the sea. A self catering studio and a breathtaking view! Definitely coming back.

Arran has plenty to offer a 10 year old boy who likes outdoor activities, there is cycling, kayaking, horse riding, golfing, putting, crazy golf, gorge walking, swimming - and that's just in and around Brodick.
If he is not outdoorsy, it is probably limited as we do not have great internet connections yet and do not have a cinema.
The Shorehouse is self catering apartments rather than a Hotel, so more space but no organised activities
