My husband and I have just returned from two nights away at the Kildonan hotel.
The location of the hotel is wonderful, right on the beach. The hotel is nice we stayed in room 7. You can take your dog with you to the hotel....More
Visited here recently with family. Fantastic location with beautiful views of Pladda and Ailsa Craig. Great walk along the beach after lunch.
Lunch was disappointing. Very lacklustre menu. Chips with everything....and not even good chips. It's a shame as this place could really be something....More
We stayed next door at the horrific campsite this hotel was our salvation ,wonderful friendly staff who went above the call of duty to help and be pleasant towards us.
Meals were fabulous too and the service grade 1 .

I have 2 large dogs so need a bit extra space. what rooms would you recommend that have a sea view & not noisy? Unfortunately the upgrade rooms are not available for my stay which is from 26th - 1st March.

The hotel will advise which rooms are best for the dogs, but I imagine they will probably say the new ground-floor, mini-suites which have French windows out onto their own private deck and part views of the sea. i was in one recently and very nice. That would let you take the dogs out at any time, without having to walk through the hotel. Good Luck, Willie
