I cannot think of anything negative to say about the Glenisle. From the warm welcome, the perfect bedroom, comfortable common areas, excellent staff, superb food....... need I go on? The hotel is perfectly located on the shore road in Lamlash. Small parking area to the rear of the hotel. The bar and library are extremely comfortable and cosy with log...

It's a brilliant Hotel with great staff. Room was very good with daily updates on coffee and biscuits, the Resturant is first class although a little expensive, the service was very good and the additional rooms available with open fires and a great selection of books with the attentive staff asking if you required a coffee or something stronger, will...

I don't have enough good things to say about this place! The location is perfect and central in Lamlash (very quick and easy ride by bus straight from the ferry terminal; drops you off right across the street), with breathtaking views of the bay and Holy Isle. The staff are great and genuinely friendly and sociable, the service is exceptional,...

Myself and my partner stayed here on Saturday night, we stayed in the cosy double (room 9). The room was lovely with everything we needed and had a great view out along the shore front. Every member of staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great.

We stayed for 3 nights over the New Year period and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The hotel is in one of the very best locations on the island and we had a stunning sea, sunrise and Holy Island view from our lovely room. Staff are excellent. Food was great, Thanks for making our New Year special! We'll definitely be back.

Small mix up with cards when we arrived, staff sorted the problem quickly with no fuss. Very good breakfast and choice. Quite small room but very comfy bed and decent sized bathroom. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Glenisle Hotel over Christmas. I was traveling alone, and I felt so welcomed and taken care of by the staff & owners. The bed in room 4 was incredibly cozy- firm but fluffy! They surprised me and left sweet treats in my room- cookies & tablet. All the food I had at the restaurant was great....

Really Cosy hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. Great base for exploring the island. Real Fires in the Public areas. Real Ale on tap too. Great choices for Breakfast. Everything cooked to order. Actually found a combination of pillows that worked!

The service was excellent. The downstairs rooms were very comfortable and relaxing, particularly with by the log fires. The bedrooms are snug but very comfortable all the same. The food was delicious and the breakfast was probably the best I have eaten.I would definitely recommend this hotel.
