This is our third visit. We had a complicated booking with one night out of four away and two return ferries. Tim managed to accommodate us at short notice. The (standard) rooms were comfortable and very clean. Bed was excellent and large (King +). Accommodation and meals are not cheap but the mix and match deal with discounts on both...

This is our second time at the Glen Isle and it won't be our last. From the friendly greeting on arrival to the perfectly appointed bedroom it was just what we needed. We have eaten in the evening on both occassions and had a beautifully cooked meal with a nice selection of wines (and whiskies) each time. Breakfast was freshly...

I stayed her for one night while on a business trip. From the outside the hotel doesn't look very spectacular and there is limited off street parking however once inside the hotel is very modern and has clearly been renovated to a high standard recently. I had a small single room but it was adequately furnished and had everything that...

Visited for a light lunch on a Sunday afternoon in April. Parked in nearby public car park. Weather was warm enough to sit outside. Shown to seat by welcoming staff who brought menus. Good selection to choose from. We both had the 'a taste of Arran' platter which consisted of a selection of cold ham duck venison smoked salmon poached...

Very comfortable small hotel in a picturesque setting. Our standard room was fairly small but was well appointed and spotlessly clean with a pleasant view along the shore. Good small bar including local ales. The food at mealtimes was of a very high standard.

We have visited ther Glenisle twice now and it only gets better. A small, cozy family style hotel in the quiet village of Lamlash, set on the beach in the beautiful nature on Arran. The rooms combine very romantic decoration with excellent facilities (e.g. modern bathrooms, broadband etc.) and the food is OUTSTANDING - we had dinner in the hotel...

We had such a great stay at the Glenisle Hotel and cannot wait to go back! The staff were all super friendly and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our stay. There was excellent information in the rooms with loads of other great personal touches such as maps for loan and binoculars in the room. Lots of lovely seating...

Stayed here a few weeks ago for a few nights. It was just perfect. The hotel is lovely overall. We were staying in a "cosy" room, although it is small it had everything we needed. Very comfortable and huge bed, plenty of storage, TV, tea, coffee etc. Nice shower room (great shower), and a lovely view. the staff were extremely...

Only there one night and wasn't sure what to expect but was bowled over by the service, food and the comfort of the room. A really friendly relaxed atmosphere greeted my arrival and that was the theme throughout. Room was small but extremely comfortable. Next time I stay in Arran this will be where I will stay. First class.
