Glenisle has been a wonderful find. The staff were friendly, efficient and always looked for ways to make their guests more comfortable. After a February days walk in the hills the excellent food and cosy log fire were fantastic.

We booked a room for a night away in November but due to the storms we had to reschedule. The wait was worthwhile! Friendly welcome, friendly staff and the room was really fresh and beautifully laid out. Our room overlooked the Holy Isle and the view stunning. We had dinner which was delicious and fairly priced.

Stayed at The Glenisle in the premier suite. Fantastic place but I must mention the staff, from arrival to departure absolutely excellent. The room was superb and spotless. Very comfy massive bed and views of the holy isle. Had dinner in the hotel and again it was fantastic. 2 courses for £18 and lovely fresh local food.

If not too short due to the weather letting us down on our 2 night break and the ferry cancelling, the team and accommodation came to the rescue and all in all we had a fab 1 night stay instead. The hotel is situated in a lovely part of the island, staff are friendly and welcoming and go out of...

I stayed here in January 2016 for 2 nights with my fiance. The staff were welcoming from the start and not only showed us up to our room but helped us with advice about local walks/eateries. Given that it was low season and not the best of weather we actually ate in the Glenn Isle both nights and the food...

Had an overnight stay on Jan 28 2016, this resulted in stay being extended to due adverse weather causing the ferry to cancel. An inconvenience it was not as it resulted in extra nights at the Glenisle! Hotel is warm, comfortable, hospitable and the stunning decor and features really capture's the spirit of the island. The general ambience in the...

We spent four nights in a 'cosy' room with lovely views towards the hills and the curve of the bay and I loved that wee room! We ate some of our meals in the charming small lounge, with the fire lit, because we were the only overnight guests (as a result of cancelled ferries) and the staff thought we'd be...

I booked the Glenisle for 2 nights while I attended a course on the island. I had stayed here many many years before and have through my job live in Lamlash for 6 months last year and again this year. I thought the Glenisle was beautiful, clean and fresh and immediately cosy as you walk through the door. Log fires...

We have just came home from our stay at the Glenisle hotel and it was just sensational. Sadly we missed our first night there due to the ferries being cancelled, however the journey the next day was totally worth it to spend the night at the Glenisle hotel. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, the food is just out...

I stayed for 3 days. It was a monumental experience. The owner Timothy, the staff (especially Hillary) were amazing to make me feel good. They thought my comfortable and desired mood than themselves. I highly recommend the hotel if you plan to visit Arran. This place such a top-notch!!
