My husband and I stayed for one night as a birthday treat getaway. We live on the Isle of Man and wanted to get away without the hassle of travel off-island. It was also the first time we left our 1 year old daughter over-night with family, so we felt more comfortable staying close by. So where do you go... More

A wonderful recreation of Victoriana. A period setting but with modern touches like WiFi. Very well appointed, if in London this would be marketed as a Boutique Hotel. Fabulous Breakfast with home made cake and biscuits offered during the day. Run by Kath and Reg with real passion and care. Wonderful views over picturesque Port St Mary Harbour and bay.

What a lovely welcome from Both Kath + Reggie, we were welcomed with tea, coffee and beautifully made scones yum yum - there were 8 of us staying on a walking weekend and what a great time we had at Arron House - nothing was too much to ask, the breakfast were amazing and our stay at Arron House was... We came to the Isle of Man for our anniversary and chose Aaron House because it looked different and a bit quirky. We arrived early (just around midday owing to our flight time) and were very warmly welcomed with tea and cake and our room was ready for us in no time. Aaron house is a beautiful house and very... After four enjoyable days touring around Ireland, we arrived in the Isle of Man. This was actually a bitter-sweet trip for our family, as the purpose of this leg of the trip was to visit the site where relatives had been interned during the war. For this reason, we purposefully chose to stay out of Douglas and selected the delightful... More

Great location and lovely Victorian décor but unless you get one of the front rooms with a great view over the bay you don't have an en suite bathroom and have to go along the corridor and down some steps to your bathroom. No shower either just a bath. In tune with the Victorian style, no TVs in the rooms... More

Hello, Thank you for your review. I am naturally disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay. As this was a group booking made on your behalf, room choice was out of our hands. We do have a variety of sea view en-suites with a shower or roll top bath, and it is unfortunate that these rooms were occupied by... More

After several family stays, a solo trip brought me to a magical bay view front room, a bath to sleep in for days and Cath's wonderful breakfasts yet again. Very glad to find some things do stay the same - quite exceptional.

A lovely welcome from Reg and Kath with tea and a slice of cake, Traditional Victorian decor makes you feel you have stepped back in time and you immediately feel rested. Breakfast is amazing. Manx kippers are gorgeous and the Buck Rarebit is wonderful - must be that Manx peppered cheese. Reg can provide all the geographical locations and he... More

We used Aaron House for a base for an annual reunion and we were not disappointed. The place is charming. Reg and Kath made us very welcome. The breakfast was superb and freshly cooked. No microwaves and hot buffets here. Even the bread was home made. The views from the front rooms over the harbour were wonderful. If there was... More
