I booked a room for two nights at the Haylie Hotel over the final weekend of the Largs Viking Festival. It was bit last minute for me as I had been unsure I would be able to go to Largs given that I had been in a car crash in July. However, I managed to get a room and although... More

We ate dinner here at the recommendation of our B&B owner. She recommended the steak. It was OK, but overall the meal and service were great. The dining room is quaint and has a view of the Firth of Clyde. We met a lovely couple at the table next to us and ended up spending two hours there. A very... More

Lovely hotel - friendly staff, cozy room, dog friendly (although there isn't a garden, but it's a short walk to the waterfront). Great breakfast!! Only thing is water pressure is poor, so shower not the best. Small room but decorated well and nice amenities (TV, DVD player, kettle, etc.). Free parking in front of hotel. Free wi fi, which was... The Haylie is a lovely family run hotel, evening meals and breakfasts are delicious in the welcoming restaurant. Also, have an evening drink in the comfortable residents lounge with excellent views over the Firth of Clyde to Cumbrae and Arran. 😊

We have been meaning to try the food at the Haylie for ages as friends, whose judgement we trust, recommended it to us. We are so glad that we did. We ate early on a cool, cloudy Wednesday evening and had the place to ourselves before other guests arrived. Service excellent, views to die for and best of all, excellent... More

Had a meal here on a recent Friday evening. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the prices reasonable and the location fabulous. Can't wait to repeat the experience. I don't know what it is like to stay here but I can certainly recommend it as a restaurant.

Lovely family run hotel, 5 mins from the beach. Excellent food, wine and hospitality. I was upgraded to a suite during my stay with a separate sitting room and a sea view. Definitely recommended to all my family, friends & business colleagues.

We stayed at the Haylie Hotel recently and found it to be a very welcoming and comfortable stay. Our room was beautiful with amazing views over the Clyde and even had a cute little sitting room. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Perhaps the best part of the stay was the FANTASTIC breakfast. It was hands down the... More
