Despite being out of season and just dropping in got a great meal with really friendly service. Allowed to take the dog into the back room so no problem their. Staff really friendly and the food came quick and hot
This is my memory of the Murray Arms. You could hear the guests walking about in the room above. The sound proofing leaves a lot to be desired. We did not eat there. However it was clean and the staff very helpful.

Pleasant stop off for lunch or a beer. The Orkney beers are very good and the crab hotpot is particularly tasty. Evening meals available. Accommodation is good although late leavers from the bar at night can be problematic.
