Good location on the main street and 5 minutes walk to the centre of town where we met best friends to celebrate a big birthday. Great room to stay in and everything clean. Breakfast was great on the Sunday morning. Very peaceful and quiet...altogether lovely.

Welcoming B&B - great sunrise view from the room and a Breakfast to die for. Nice homemade baking and a plethora of maps to plan the dats activities over breakfast. Close by the town centre for pubs and food - will be back

"Norman G" Many thanks for your review, wish we could guarantee the sunrise every morning!! As I type this you can barely see the end of the garden due to the fog!! Although the view is ALWAYS different, just some days better than others!! Look forwarding to welcoming you back! Nigel & Stella

This was our second visit which was just as excellent as our first . This time we had 2 rooms for my wife and teenage kids . From Nigel's welcome to the home made Bakewell Tart in the room , the comfortable rooms, and as mentioned previously the fantastic breakfast of local produce. We dined at our favourite restaurant anywhere...

"The Percival Family" Many thanks for your lovely review and so pleased you enjoyed staying with us again! Good to hear you like Stella's Bakewell Tart, it was a new addition to her range of home-baking so it might well get repeated! We are so lucky to have such a great restaurant as Yanns so close by (please book ahead!)...

We had a lovely time at Galvelbeg. Our room was very clean and well equipped. We had a comfy bed and it was so peaceful. Waking to the views, a great breakfast and a welcome smile was exactly what we needed. My gluten free diet was catered for and Stella and Nigel were so friendly and helpful. They gave us...

A lovely, warm, friendly, very comfortable B & B. We stayed one night to attend a local concert, the friendly, relaxed atmosphere at Galvelbeg topped everything off. Lovely breakfast, and nice attention to detail everywhere. Top marks to Nigel & Stella. Just don't tell anyone - we want to return for another visit !

We were made very welcome on our recent trip here by our hosts, and found the room to be super clean, with lots of little extras. Our Breakfast (ordered the evening before) was made fresh on the day and was very tasty and filling. Great value B+B !!!!

'Disappointed' isn't a word I thought I would be using to describe this B&B, and really my only disappointment is that I left it too late to book a room for a return visit. I wanted to book to return here this month after our experience in August 2015 only to find it fully booked for the middle of October!...

Antony, I was shocked as I started to read your review.... "Disappointed! However it soon turned into a pleasure to read. The wonderful comment about Stella's breakfast is much appreciated. Sorry about your visit in October, we usually close for a couple of weeks to get a bit of sun and recharge our batteries after a long, busy summer season!...
