My fiancée and I stayed here for a night in November on a DBB basis. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel relaxed and the service from the staff was second to none. They were so attentive and looked after us.
Excellent food, presentation, service and atmosphere. Goats cheese; pate and nice chutney. Scottish roast beef. Massive Yorkshires puddings. Good selection of Malts Whisky. Tip If feeding toddlers, share one child's meal between two.

I agree with the previous writer that bus is convenient from Inverness to Dornoch BUT it leaves early (?9.20am) so you would need an overnight stay in in Inverness unless you were doing sleeper which arrives Inverness ?6am. Train connection goes to Tain and a taxi would be feasible from there approx.8 miles.
