This being my first visit to Scotland I was blown away by the stunning scenery! I arrived at Fiddlers/Oakdale to check in and was greeted warmly by John the owner. The room at Oakdale was a double and spotlessly clean as was the adjoining bathroom which was ultra modern with a large bath and separate shower. I was visiting Drumnadrochit...

Greeted warmly by the owner upon check in at the pub. Twin room was smallish but very clean and comfortable. Bathroom shower was large and again looked spotless. Wifi was so so but the owners were looking into improving the quality of download and although she said it was not advertised as having wifi I believe the majority of guests...

The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though our room faced the street, it was quiet (with the windows closed). The restaurant across the street for dinner is great. And there wasn't too much plaid. Why I hated it: it provided the minimal amount any hotel/B&B could hope to get away with. The only bathroom...

We had dinner at Fiddler's and got mixed impressions. Waiters are young, quick and really service minded. Excellent! Kitchen not quite up to the standard. The haggis starter was great, but the accompanying bread dry and tasteless. The ribeye main was well cooked but the meat not tender. The side of chips was great - crisp and tasty - but...

Lovely burgers. I ordered "Highland burger". It was well done and lot of food. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant. I didn't try the hotel facility. This is also near Loch Ness an maybe "Nessie".

We saw from the other reviewers that it was good to book ahead so we did that. When we arrived for our booking our table wasn't ready so we had to wait in the bar/cafe. The staff brought us a round of drinks to apologise for the wait - a nice touch even though it was only a 10 -15...

I wouldn't stay here again if it could be avoided in any way. The room was dirty with dust and cobwebs, the view from the window was of an alleyway and there was quite a lot of noise at night. The breakfast was by far the worst we had on our trip. I would try another place in drumnadrochit.
