My husband and stepson ran the Inverness 10K and, along with our 6 year old son, we chose Bobcot cottage to stay in for 3 nights. The cottage was easy to find due to the good directions given to us by the owner. We parked and entered the property and were greeted by the smell if smoke. However, the cottage...

The first thing we noticed when we arrived was that for a supposedly non-smoking accommodation, the smell of smoke was extremely strong. I was worried I wouldn't be able to stay there at all, but luckily it was good weather the week we were there so we left most of the windows open 24 hours a day and the upstairs...

Myself, Cheryl and the dog headed up to Bobcot Cottage for a long weekend. The weather was wonderful and the cottage was very easy to find just a short distance through Invermoriston on the A82. The cottage itself was very clean and had all the utilities and utesils you would require to stay in this lovely quiet part of the...

The cottage was lovely. Making up the fire and toasting marshmallows made it even better! My daughter loved being able to wander through the woods and take photo's, but be warned this is for older children. Great base for all of the highlands. We went up to John O'Groats and could easily make the journey in the day. I would...

We made many trips in the area and we loved every moment of our stay. The house was pleasant and confortable. We just regret that France is so far away...

Went up for three nights at the Pole Cottages during February. We wanted to go for a couple of days Skiing but weren't sure which ski resort we should go to (snow depending). So we chose the Pole cottages as they were a nice (near) half-way house between Inverness and Fort William and we got to be beside Loch Ness!...

This was my second trip up to the Highlands, both times have been around the Inverness area. The first time was in a decent hotel near to the city centre which was ok but the reason for travelling so far North was to get away from the city. Bobcot was one side of a semi detached property off the A82....
