We had to stay here after being stuck in a snow drift outside whitebridge. We probably weren't the easiest guests as the police/council kept phoning us, but everyone was so lovely and helpful. Lovely food in the pub, and a really tasty breakfast. Cosy rooms andx comfy beds. Thank you so much for all your help!

Warm reception with clean and comfortable rooms. Good base for exploring the Highlands. Great breakfast to set you up. Beautiful view from our bedroom window. Bar food is delicious ~ excellent homemade cooking ~ reasonably priced. Welcoming wood burner in the bar to compliment one's meal. Could have done with a radio station on the tv but other than that... More

Spent two nights here and had a wonderful time. Ate in the hotel and the food was excelent. Staff really friendly and made us feel most welcome. Some of the public areas were a bit "tired" and could do with a bit of TLC but the room was excelent. Breakfast was excelent and they were more than happy to cook... More

Just spent one night here before running the Loch Ness marathon and was really impressed. The staff were extremely welcoming and hospitable. The rooms were a bit old fashioned but that didn't matter, they were very clean, warm and comfy beds. Great views also. The bar was friendly and food was delicious. Breakfast also great and provided the right pre... More

We did not stay at hotel but ate here three times during our week long stay. As a family of four with two people who needed a gluten free diet we did not expect to find somewhere so remote that could cater for us so well - it was wonderful, thank you. A great choice of food and a warm... More

We spent two nights at Whitebridge Hotel. The hotel was merely adequate (very tired room and common areas) but the friendly owner, David, and our two delicious dinners made up for the hotel shortcomings. The first night, we ate in the bar only because it seemed too much effort to drive to Fort Augustus. Surprise . . . the food... More

This is a great place to stay when crossing Scotland. Located on the south (quieter) side of Loch Ness. The people who run it are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. It is by no means 5 star accommodation but well priced clean and comfortable. The quality of the food is great and there is a good choice.... More

The Whitebridge Hotel is situated in open countryside between Fort Augustus and Inverness. It is an old fashioned country hotel with fabulous views and is happy with dogs. It is not chic or modern and does not pretend to be, it is more like an old loved armchair - a bit creaky but very comfortable. The proprietors are very welcoming... More

We booked for two nights but stayed for only one, which says it all. We booked because of (mostly) excellent reviews but, in every respect, the hotel failed to live up to them. This old building has huge potential but is in desperate need of refurbishment both inside and out and our room was cluttered with more furniture than there... More

This hotel has no shiny leather sofas and the beds are covered with very practical (and stylish) plaid fleece fitted bedspreads without any scatter cushions. It has patterned carpets and flocked wallpaper in the hall.If you saw a photograph of any of the rooms you would instantly recognise the Whitebridge Hotel, not some chain or newly refurbished establishment. If this... More
