Beautiful campsite positioned near the hotel ( great food ) and close to the ingress for sea kayaking. Fabulous views .You need to be at the office entrance in order to get the wifi which is no bad thing with youngsters !! Gorgeous!

This was our first camping stop of our NC500 tour, lots of pitch sites. We arrived there at about 7pm and there was no one at reception, so we just pitched and paid before we left. It could definitely do with a bit of modernisation but for one night it's ideal. Reasonably priced and had nice views over the water.

Stayed on this site for one night in a motor home. The journey there, following SatNav was about 1 hour longer than when investigated on route planners, but it was an OK journey. Arrived in apple cross and there was no signage to the campsite by the village which would have been beneficial as we had to manovere a long...

This was our fourth stay here in the past 7 years and it has been sad to see the decline in recent years. The facility used to have a great bar/bistro in the polytunnel that did great pizzas, breakfasts, coffee etc and was a welcome refuge from bad weather and midges. All that is gone. The shower blocks are dilapidated,...

Stayed many times. Used to be great with the exception of the poor toilet and washing facilities. Now they seem to have thrown in the towel. They charge the same old prices (more even) but no longer provide any services worth a mention. No food provided any more - why? No decent wifi - just rubbish wifi in the reception....

I have stayed on this site a few times over the last few years and i have to admit i was shocked at the site on this visit. Arrived on Thursday from the North West of Scotland in a motorhome with our 2 teenage children and border collie dog. At £71 for 2 nights on a bit of ground next...

We stayed here in the glamping pods, which were fine. Mattresses provided. However we felt that the toilet block could have been better cleaned and perhaps needed a bit of maintenance and or updating. Our previous site on this trip had much more basic facilities in portable buildings (they were busy building a new toilet block) but they were much...

The owners seem to have given up here...motorbike gangs allowed to camp, revving their bikes and constantly swearing, shop sells almost nothing, wifi next to useless...if it were not for the Applecross Inn this place would be nothing. I wish we had camped on the beach.

After driving over the highest pass in Scotland we were expecting great things....wow we were brought back to earth with a bang. Reception was minimal told to camp anywhere as long as it was two metres away from plug in??? Weather was lovely on Tuesday 9th of August until 2 the next morn.......biblical rain for 36 hours and no respite...
