What a lovely hotel. We stayed in a small double which was extremely comfortable. The bed and linen were quality which is so important. All staff were so polite and professional and couldn't do enough to help. We will definitely be back to explore the local area which looked very beautiful.

Beautiful old country house with all the decor immaculately preserved. Stunning location with ample grounds to meander through, dogs very welcome.Relaxing lounge and bar, open fires and octagonal dinning room, to name a few. Welcome from the owner was like I had arrived at a friend's house and the service was exceptional. Food was, in my opinion, worthy of a...

I booked this trip as a surprise for my husband's 30th birthday. We spent 5 days in Coul House hotel and what a lovely time we had. As soon as we entered we were warmed by a roaring fire and lovely reception. The first thing I noticed was Bella the owners adorable little dog. I so wanted to take her...

We were here on tour on the NC500 trip with scottishmoments and Visit Britain. This has to be on your route. What is a no niggles hotel? Basically everything is as it should be. Unusual for a hotel to be kept at a high standard decor wise but it is. Comfortable, extremely good food and service. The no niggles and...

Stayed recently with a group of friends, and had such a wonderful time. Stuart, Susannah, Chris and team simply could not have taken better care of us. Nothing was too much trouble, and the service was unobtrusively perfect. This has to be one of Scotland's best hotels.

As always Coul House Hotel came up trumps when we had a family lunch early in Jan. Service was exemplary. Wine perfect, food lovely and dogs welcome. We arrived after a long walk and indulged in a super birthday lunch. Just lovely. What I love is the hotel is very elegant but welcomes we walkers in all our motley attire...

We had stayed in this beautiful place a few months before and loved it, however this week decided to make the most of a super January deal. Our two days in this cosy, ambient mansion were simply outstanding and we didn't want to leave.... A cheerful fire burns constantly in the entrance hallway and there are comfortable sofas scattered throughout...
